The Reason
Here we go:
After Shadow finds he can use Chaos Control to travel through time (see Sonic the Hedgehog '06), he realizes that he can save his beloved Maria. As the Ultimate Lifeform makes a portal appear, Jet comes in, seeking to re-challenge Sonic to a race. Jet sees Shadow step in, and, thinking he's Sonic, jumps in after him. The two go to the Ark, 50 years ago. While Shadow hides Gerald and Maria Robotnik, Jet wanders the Ark, unbeknownst to Shadow (or anyone else, for that matter). Upon completing his mission, Shadow returns to the present, and with him goes Jet's chance to get back home. So now the scene is set, with just Jet, Maria, and Professor Gerald aboard the ark. Jet finds Maria, and the two eventually fall in love, simple as that. Now, as for why I made the club: I was bored as heck, and didn't see this pairing anywhere. So I thought to myself, "What the h*ll? It'll be fun trying to justify this one!" So, let's see how many people join.

No flaming anybody, whether they be within the club or without. DO NOT favorite art done by the club; rather, follow the links provided on the club deviations, and fav the ORIGINAL pic. Please, nothing inappropriate (i.e., don't give Jet man-parts, or show Maria's "goods", et. al.)Joining
